READ THE UPDATED RULES Welcome to Promises in the Dark. This room was built for connection, creativity, conversation, fun, fantasy, friendship, filth, and fuckery but exploration of everything that happens in the spaces between is encouraged as well. Come as you are, but know the expectations before you enter. By entering this room, you acknowledge and agree to the following: • Visuals - Avatars are an expression, and we allow almost anything but absolutely do not come in with an av that looks a day younger than 18. Images, Gifs and Memes (within the rules) are always welcome. Music links are welcome also (except for when DJ G is on the air). This is not up for negotiation or debate. • Respect in, respect out - Treat people like human beings. Disagreements happen. Misunderstandings happen. Adult behavior means handling them without turning the room into a battlefield. Harassment, bullying, stalking, intimidation and deliberate disrespect will be given no room to breathe here and will result in removal and/or bans. We're not trying to be the biggest room. We're trying to be a room where people can finally stop hiding. Quality over quantity. Avoid public conflict whenever possible. If something goes sideways, pause, address it privately or disengage and move on. Mods have the final say. • Open scenes: Lifestyle and kink discussions, roleplay, storytelling, and creative expression are always welcome and encouraged - we do not cater to a single lifestyle, dynamic, kink, or genre. Variety is encouraged. Support those who choose to share, but if a scene or discussion is not for you, mind your business and move on. Negative spectator commentary, disruption, and kink-shaming are not welcome. "No" always means no. Never join a scene without the consent of all involved parties. • Anonymity: While it is still allowed, deception absolutely is not - No impersonation. No rotating through personas to avoid accountability. No hiding behind anonymity while creating problems for others. Anonymity remains as a courtesy here, not a shield. |
